The condition of the captain is now almost fully recovered after undergoing groin surgery and feel like a new born.
Reported by The Sun, Stevie G said, "Nothing is more my passion than the players lead the title next season. Passing the Champions League is my main target. "
"Everyone wants to participate in the competition, we've had a fantastic night at Anfield in this competition and we wish those nights again," he continued.
"My problem is resolved with surgery and next season I will be fit after sufficient rest, with a new hip," he concluded.
