Local Surfer Nusa Lembongan, Bali, Agus Frimanto have high expectations to win the Billabong Pro Junior events in 2011
Agus and other tough surfers, Putra Hermawan will be one of the main attractions in the race which was held at the legendary break Shipwreck at Nusa Lembongan on July 25 to 31 next.
"This is my home you know, I'd love to win!" said Agus Frimanto. "But also I think that's cool Billabong Pro Junior held at Lembongan this year. Learning and this experience will surely burn the spirit of the local grommet!" Said Gus Frimanto again.
According to Asia Billabong Brand manager, Peter Thew, Shipwreck is a reliable area, with a powerful right wave and broke in the coral rubble that formed on the legendary ship, located about 300 meters from the beach.
"We are excited to bring this contest to Lembongan,” says Billabong Brand Manager Asia Peter Thew. "Indonesian junior surfer really promising with surfer-surfer Frimanto and tough like Agus Putra Hermawan. We cannot wait to see them compete on their own pages.
