NEW YORK - One of the world's richest dog, who inherited a fortune worth USD12 million or approximately Rp102 billion has now been dead.
The property was inherited by Leona Helmsley, owner of the Helmsley hotel network at the time of his death in 2007, for the cost of care dog, Trouble.
"Actually, the dog had died on December 13 last," said a spokesman for Helmsley Charitable Trust Foundation, Eileen Sullivan, as reported by the Telegraph, Friday (06/10/2011).
"Trouble was cremated and his ashes are stored neatly. Legacy given to him now been returned to the foundation of Leona M. and Harry B. Helmsley Charitable Trust for the purpose of donation, “said Sullivan.
Leona Helmsley, known as the "queen of mean" because of the way he treated the employees of the hotel. He also was jailed for 18 months due to avoid paying taxes in 1990.
