Here are 13 signs of ADHD that occur in adults:

1. Easily agitated
If the children with ADHD may be too energetic, then adults with ADHD only feel tense or nervous. "Adults do not show signs of a more obvious, such as running and jumping. Hyperactivity presented more subtle in the form of anxiety," said Colette de Marneffe, PhD, a clinical psychologist in Silver Spring, Md.

2. Having a child with ADHD
ADHD has a genetic component. When one family member has ADHD, there is the possibility of 25 to 35 percent of the people or descendants in the family experienced it also, according to the Attention Deficit Disorder Association.

3. Having trouble in a relationship
"Often adults with ADHD actually have difficulty with transitions (relationships dormitory). When the relationship becomes more stable and predictable, conflicts tend to arise," explained de Marneffe.

4. Smoke
About 40 percent of adults with ADHD were smokers, compared to only 26 percent of the general population. "Nicotine is very effective for many symptoms of ADHD. That's because they often begin to experience more problems with focus and concentration," said Dr. Wetzel.

Adults with ADHD are also more likely to use alcohol and other drugs at a younger age, than people without ADHD.

5. Have academic problems as symptoms of ADHD in children

11. Messy and can’t be regular
Being organized is a challenge for adults with ADHD because they have difficulty to it and tends to fall apart and irregular.

12. Unable to relax
Adults with ADHD often feel relaxed because so many things that take over their consciousness.

13. The mind easily 'travel'
Suppose you are conducting a conversation with others, but your mind is easy to 'roam' and hover. It makes you lose a piece of conversation.
