Treatment of a disease is not only used medical drugs alone. Some strange treatment has been known by the public for years.
Not a few non-medical treatments that is still reliable and performed by the world community. This treatment can sometimes be somewhat strange and illogical. Some are not yet scientifically proven.
Here are some bizarre treatment that is still believed by many people, as quoted by the Telegraph, Friday (10/06/2011), namely:
1. Peacock feathers tied to the feet can cure poison (can) from a deadly snake.
2. Cow urine can cure liver disorders, cancer, heart disease, AIDS, and constipation. Currently cow urine is being developed into a healthy soft drink.
3. Cow manure can be an antiseptic in the home and used as a cement floor.
4. Human skull crushed into a powder that can treat epilepsy.
5. Testicle Indian otter can cure sexual weakness.
6. Green Apples can cure claustrophobia (unnatural phobia of enclosed spaces).
7. Bath beer can help slow the aging process.
8. Bat blood may help fight infection in the eye.
9. Net or a spider's web can be a malaria drug.
