At the Catalunya Grand Prix qualifying session on Saturday (June 04), the Italian failed to record the maximum results. Rossi has only been in the order of seven, the difference between 00, 810 seconds of Marco Simonceli who won the pole position.

The Doctor also confirmed to adapt the style of racing with Ducati motorcycles are heavy duty to be served this season.
