Silverstone - British MotoGP rider Casey Stoner dominated until the qualifying session. He was now waiting for the race with high spirits, no matter how the conditions on the track later.
Stoner faithful become the fastest racer starting from the first free practice session until the qualifying session at Silverstone on Saturday (11/06/2011) evening hrs.
As a result, it now only Honda rider won the race on Sunday (06/12/2011) night local time, to consolidate its dominance in the British MotoGP. He was ready to do it, even though the race will bring the potential for rain.
"Looking at the situation this weekend, no matter how the conditions tomorrow. No doubt I prefer dry race, but we are ready for any condition,” said Stoner on Reuters.
"I felt we were a bit lucky today with pole position, we tried a few things with the bike, we slightly change the settings on the front and on my best lap I was even two or three times to lose control on the front," he admitted.
If you manage to win at Silverstone, Stoner will record a third win streak this season. Reuters said, there is no longer the Honda rider who can do it since the era of Valentino Rossi in 2003 ago.
