Phones that are often identified with 'a life' a person, it causes a lot of havoc.
Previous word got out that the World Health Organization (WHO) has determined that cell phone radiation could cause brain cancer. However, recent new studies show that exposure to electromagnetic radiation from mobile phones can also negatively impact bone mineralization. How come?
According to research by Dr Fernando D Sravi from the National University of Cuyo, Mendoza, Argentina, argued that the man who often put the phone on a belt could have reduced bone mineral content (BMC) and bone mineral density (BMD) in the right hip.
This study based on BMC and BMD measurements in the left hip and right in two groups of healthy men-high 24 men who did not use the phone.
Based on research published in the Journal of Craniofacial Surgery 24 men who carry their phones in a belt right side for at least one year.
This study used test equipment called a dual energy x-ray absorptiometry, BMC and BMD is a standard marker of bone strength.
The average results of BMC and BMD measurements are not too different between the two groups. But men who do not use the phone to have higher BMC at the femoral neck right (near the top of the thigh bone). So, people who use their mobile phone on the right side relative decrease in BMC at the hip.
Mobile users also experienced a decline in BMD and BMC in the area that is right trokanter upper outer thigh bone, close to the position of a mobile phone placed on a belt.
There is some concern about the adverse impact of mobile phones. Some studies also have examined whether electromagnetic fields emitted by mobile phones can affect bone mineralization.
The use of cell phones that can provide rapid so significant influence on people who have a major impact with the level of osteoporosis. Although somewhat small, this study meminculkan possibility that long-term exposure to electromagnetic radiation from mobile phones could adversely affect bone mineralization.
