It has been found, a mass grave containing 14 bodies of Maoist rebels India, in Jharkhan by local police.
Mass graves were discovered in the hills of the forest at the border and Kunthi Ranchi District which is the headquarters of the Maoist rebels.
Police believe, the rebels were killed in battles with police, and their remains were buried by their own colleagues, so that police can not take the body. Similarly, as reported by the BBC on Monday (6/13/2011).
The rebels said they are fighting to claim the rights of the poor.
Maoist rebels had killed 74 police officers in an attack in Chhattisgarh last year. Prime Minister of India described the Maoist insurgency is the greatest security challenge for India.
