The Swiss company, Grueter and Gut Technik (GG) managed to create a competitor Can-Am Spyder, dubbed Taurus.
Uniquely GG reinforced BMW 1293cc four-cylinder engine that is believed more powerful than Can-Am.
Mated with 6-speed gearbox, the engine of the BMW was able to develop power up to 175 bhp at 9250 rpm with maximum torque of 140 Nm at 8250 rpm. In contrast to the Can-Am Spyder, Taurus gearbox has been fitted with reverse gear.
